Hi, I’m Alva Robinson. I’m a Licensed Social Worker. More specifically I am someone who provides support and practical feedback to help children and teens effectively address the challenges they are facing in life.
Childhood is supposed to be a happy time, full of learning, growing, exploring and laughing. All children deserve that happiness, leading to a healthier and happier adulthood. But, if this is not the case for your child or teen, I can help. I provide a safe, comfortable and playful environment so that they can open up, share, discover and uncover their best selves.
I know from my many years of experience working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges that they have the ability to make big changes in their lives. I believe that this change comes from within and my role is to facilitate this change in a way that gives space for and honors their ability to lead the way in their own healing.
I believe that children, when allowed to express themselves in their own way self-correct and self-heal. If you are ready to explore what is getting in your child’s way and figure out what to do next, then give me a call at (215) 621-6474 or drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
